Advice on singing material for a girl?

Ok so my voice is suited to softer blues rock but I wanna sing some lively (but not too heavy on my voice) stuff as well. Any suggestions on artists or tracks that I could sing? I prefer older material, and my favs are lynyrd skynyrd, led zep, pearl jam, Kings of Leon, Metallica. I love to sing their material so any more artists like that would be good.
