on fashion, friends, grades, what i should know etc?

Even though my response is long please read it. Theres really nothing to high school just be yourself and stay true to that. Study hard and keep up your grades throughout your whole high school years keep in touch with your guidance counselor, because senior year they will help you find many scholarships. A few things to remember, in high school you learn who some of your true friends are, and you learn who you can trust. Also colleges pay attention to growth from your freshman year to your senior year. Also don't you ever let any boy define you no matter what they say, they may call you a ';whore';, ';slut';, ';trap';, all they names but a child of god just know who and what you are and let that define you. Two things I ask you to do, don't get pregnant, its your choice to have sex but please use protection if you do chose to have sex, also don't drop out your senior year I have seen so may people do the above things and it hurts so deeply. Hopefully you take my advice I know that it was long.Any advice for a girl who is going to high school?
You will lose friends in high school, or at least I did. My friend changed, started doing drugs, hanging with the wrong crowd, etc, but I also made new friends. You will know which friends are your true ones, they will be there through thick and thin. I'm out of high school now, and I only have one friend left from there out of many. Do fall into peer pressure. People wear all sorts of clothing. From going skanky to dressy, to homeless looking. You see everything, dresses, skirts, blouses, polos, jeans, khakis, shorts, skorts, tshirts, long sleeves, and the list goes on. Just wear what is comfortable to you, yet if you like to get dressed up, then do that. The best advice I can give you for grades is, making high honor roll looks great for colleges so do that. Get all A's if possible. When you get your drivers license, don't go crazy, please. I like my car the way it is. :) Enjoy these years, they will go by quickly.
fashion- jeans, t's, cute tanks, flip flops, or heels, sneakers occasionally, WEAR ALOT OF PINK, guys like that. nothing too dressy its uncomfortable and looks like your trying. ( abercrombie is the best way to go, and if you odnt have the money go for american eagle) skirts, always short, shorts never baggy-boy shorts, or pants, always wear a matching hair band or scrunchie on your wrist or in your hair.
hair- mostly down, straight, wavy, or curly, ALWAYS brushed, NEVER frizzy, when you wear sneakers wear a pony tail.
friends- never be a follower, never let ppl make fun of you. especially your friends, and like they say keep your friends close and your enemys closer, b/c you need to know as much info about ppl you dont like or that are 2 faced as possible incase they stab you in the back b/c after that you will definately need the info. never let ppl manipulate you. never seem clingy or desparate.
grades- get the best grades you can, it makes you look smart and its great for college and college is gonna be the best time of your life, and partying, omg the parties are going to rock!
well thats about it, oh and
guys- like i said never be clingy or seem desparate, never ask a boy out, and never look him in the eyes unless he is your b/f and you truly care about him and he cares about you. and never buy him anything unless its christmas or his bday ( or a fam member of his dies)

I'm a high school teacher, so I can tell you it is very important to take notes, which may be different than what you did in junior high. Also, if you struggle, go in for help.
If you feel that you are struggling to find where you ';fit in,'; don't worry, it usually isn't until junior year that kids find themselves.
my best advice is to make as many friends as possible. most girls will just try to make friends with the more popular girls or will even try to make enemies [you know we all do it] for attention. but the best thing you can do is to know everybody and to try to be on their good side. this way, no one will be talking bad about you behind your back. try not to get too into become one certain girl or group of girls friend, and most importantly stay true to your old friends.
as for style, try to stay within bounds of how girls in your school generally dress, but spice it up a little. make it your own, and do not wear anything that you dont think flatters your body just because its in style..you can always make thing work for you!
high school may seem like a big step, but it can be great if you make it that way for yourself. good luck! :]]

I'm going to be a sophomore and we wear uniforms..soo yea but first of all, BE YOURSELF. being like someone else introduces you to wrong kinds of friends. I was being myself and I met some of the greatest friends.
as for fashion, set your own trends, it's pretty fun
just don't get on the bad side of upperclassmen
Do all of your work, do extra work for extra credit, volunteer... it all is great for college.
Be Yourself because there is a whole world after high school dont get lost in all the trends and dont sell out to have friends.
OMG! Your gonna love high school its so fun. Somtimes its hard and you learn that all your friends from middle/elm. school get classified into different cliques which might not be the same as yours. Ya'll go your seperate ways. Its really not such a tragedy though, if you meet fun, hot guys, then who cares about em'! I'm a cheerleader but that does'nt mean you'd only hang out with just cheerleaders. There's lots of parties, boys, sex, everything. Ppl really show what there gonna be as far as the adult world. Emo's pregnant whores, preppy boys, and the arts, but now-days if your in band or the other music courses that doesn't mean its ';homo-central'; as they explain in teen movies and such, but don't get me wrong its very similar! There's lots of snobby bltch's but if your pretty you'll automaticaly 'become' one?Its so fun I love it!!
