I taught my 12 year old to play a few chords and we flicked through music books and found songs that used those chords, she was like a sponge and I found even if she didn't know the song she would still attempt it.I need to teach a twelve 12 year old girl guitar. Depends. Once she's got ';Mary Had A Little Lamb'; and ';Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'; down and knows how to read the tabs, maybe move on to some nice ACDC songs, such as ';You Shook Me All Night Long'; and ';Back In Black';.

go on youtube and look at vids of kids her age playing and steal the song lol
