Do you have any tips/advice for and 13 year old girl?

Any tips or advice will do. About anything : Make-up, School, Guys Shopping, Parents, Life, Growing up.





I'm 13, just started high school, hazel eyes, light brown hair, really likes this guy,he likes me, but he won't ask me out, loves hanging out with my friends, I dislike my younger sister. Any Advice for ANYTHING!Do you have any tips/advice for and 13 year old girl?

Well, about the guy who you like but he won't ask you out, maybe to start things off you should invite him (and some of his friends) to go to a movie with some of your friends to avoid awkwardness. Nonchalantly make it so you two end up sitting beside each other during the movie and make subtle movements like ';accidentally'; touching his leg and little things like that to show your interested and comfortable around him. Then, after the movie, you'll have something to talk about and you'll get to know each other better. Plus, this gives you a chance to spend some more time with your friends. (Wow that really sounded like it came straight out of Seventeen magazine lol)





As far as school goes, freshmen year isn't hard. Just make sure you stay focused on your work and challenge yourself in the courses you take.

I think that the guy won't ask you out because he's shy and maybe you should be around with him more often so he can be comfortable and open up to you. I think you hate your sister because she doesn't understand you at all and maybe you don't understand her at some parts. Or mayeb she's just naive. I am not sure about make-ups. But it's better not to do it because the older you get, the heavier the make-up you need to put on.
you are starting to discover what you like and what you want to do and the best way i think is try everything at least once (not something that could hurt you of course) but start getting experiences like make up session with the girls or check it out in the magazines (dont forget your age though i dont think guys would like an over-work). Keep your grades high (smart girls are more attractive), talk to many guys, make jokes, dont bad mouthed anyone (guys hate that and is not cool).


think about the clothes you like, get your own style and dont worry about what other people thinks, being confident is a great attitude.


talk to your parents, they are not enemies and they just want the best for you. even when they have their own ideas dont fight with them, be mature in your conversations and dont slam doors or yell, that will get you their trust and permissions. have little details to them like making their coffee or rub their back. ask them about their young experiences and what do they like and dislike.

respect your parents,


life gets in the way of fun,


the more life experience you have, the faster you will grow up into the woman you were meant to be.
Don't try to grow up too fast. Most things that seem important to you now probably won't in a few years - so don't stress about trivial situations. When you get to high school, your freshman year plays a part in your final GPA when you are applying to colleges later on. Remember that and focus on your work.

just remember to stick with your friends, they will be everything to you in the future. Dont let your relationships control your life. Take a few days to hang out with your friends, not just your bf or gf.
