I'm a 32 year old divorced father and I'm completely enamored with a woman with HPV. I've read all about it, and I do know that there is no way for sure that I will contract it, but I am still a bit hesitant. We have not had any sort of intercourse, but I do foresee it in the future.

HPV is a bigger danger to women but if you are that worried about the warts, they are completely treatable. The cancer part has only been shown to affect women and very rarely. The quote says at some point in their lives because this year she might have it and next she it could be gone. It seems especially odd that you are worried about this if you two plan on staying together. It is very common and there are still quite a few doctors who still don't check women and almost none check men so you may very well be a carrier already. P.S. it commonly doesn't show for six months so when and who was the last time of your intercourse?
its nice that your educated but still rember your kids i know you luv them alot understand what you would do to them if you did get it and when they find out it would break their hearts so just make sure that before truely falling in luv that you rember how this effects your kids and what will happen when you do get it perhapes lets say something happens like you get into an arguement and one of you live each other how will you ever get laid again with hpv it will b ignerant in so many ways truely i say leave her for your kids for your self and save her the guilt
Use protection. Also, for guys HPV isn't that big of an issue: you can get the warts removed.





But if you break up with her, you will have to tell other girls that you have been exposed to HPV (and you should get tested), as HPV can cause cervical cancer.

You cannot contract HPV. You can only become a carrier of it. Why not suggest that she have chryotherapy? It's standard procedure for an abnormal pap, but ultimately, it will be her decision.
cant they cure HPV? i thought they could but either way...if you really think shes the chick then the ultimate love is taking a disease for someone lol...means you really care...but ya idk that a guy can get hpv anyways so id just look into it ...call a doctor and ask questions you know
Yeah I would say that you should wait until your married, because you may end up breaking up and now your a carrier.
let me be off the wall, how about you dont have sex with her in any way at all unless you both get married, be old fashioned about it all. even if it may seem absurd now.
